Service Description

Supporting children & teens through their challenges in life can equip them with effective ways to recognise & manage their emotions. Building a positive rapport & trust is essential for children to disclose the depth of what they are experiencing. In Child / Teen Counselling I provide interactive approaches that are child/ teen appropriate to engage conversation. We explore all aspects of a child’s/ teens emotions, family and friendship relationships, school life and regular social activities they participate in. The session will incorporate art therapy, journaling, games, symbolic play, talking therapy, mindfulness activities & guided meditation. The focus of each session is to equip a child / teen with positive ways that suit them individually in how to respond to situations that challenge them. I will draw upon the strengths of a child / teen to empower their coping skills.
